How to relax when you care the most?
I got a reminder of this over the weekend.
I was cleaning out a drawer in the living room.
And I found a vanilla faded old fax that was over 2 Metres long.
I knew in a heartbeat what it was.
It was my presentation to Steve Case, the founder of AOL.
I was told before the presentation that they would not give me an answer until after two weeks.
After the presentation, within two hours, I was told they wanted in.
They would invest $25-30 million.
On the most important presentation of my life, I was able to relax.
Sure I practised like hell, but I used this dumb, stupid, brilliant technique.
(IT WORKS.)
When you are presenting to 10 people, do this.
Imagine you are presenting to 1,500.
When you are presenting to 1,500 people, do this.
Imagine you are presenting to 10.
This is anti-freeze.
