Three Wins.

Rethink time, money and mojo in three minutes or less.

Welcome to week thirty-four of Three Wins, where I walk you through my process of launching an online course in 2024.

Even if you are not launching an online course, this will help you think about whatever you will launch.

  1. Time. 🕰️

Use your time to craft it.

In the rare moments I haven’t been helping get the farm ready for Do Wales next week, I started rebuilding the website for Micro Blogs.

By rebuilding, I mean crafting.

 - Looking at every word.

 - Looking at the framing of the offer.

 - Looking at the rate of sign-ups.

For example:

I read all the feedback from the Beta workshops again. Then, I got those testimonials and added them to the website.

You can’t have too many.

I used a plugin called Famewall.io.

A win.

Famewall - Collect & Add Testimonials to your website
Famewall is which helps you highlight & display social media, text, video testimonials seamlessly & automates collecting them from customers

“Proof is priceless.”

  1. Money. 💰

True wealth is made from one big bet.

That bet must be on your skill.

  • Bet on your craft.
  • Don’t spread yourself too thin.
  • Go deep.

Don’t diversify. Say that phrase out loud - Diworsify.

Pick your torture.

For me, that is writing.

You have to find something where you have some skill, where that skill is valued by others, and where you can keep doing it even on days you don’t feel like doing it.

Taylor Swift is a good singer. But there are better singers. If she didn’t write so well, she would play to empty stadiums.

You know who you must bet on.

A win.

“If people cannot write well, they cannot think well, and if they cannot think well, others will do their thinking for them.” George Orwell.

  1. Mojo. 🙏

Who gives you energy?

This week Duncan the builder mentioned he wanted to paint the fuse box black so it would blend in more in the new bar we are building for Do Wales.

He cares.

Being around people who care gives you energy. Being around people who don't care robs your energy. You know who to spend more time with.

A win.

"The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team." - Phil Jackson

As always, I hope this was useful in some way.

Talk next weekend.

Have a good week.

David.
