Last night at dinner, I saw humans tell their truth.

There were tears.

There was laughter.

But no holding back.

After 3 days of self-enquiry, it was time for the attendees to let go.

But.

They still needed permission…

We had asked them to bring an object that mattered to them.

That was THEIR PERMISSION SLIP.

And off they went.

Honesty is a window into the soul.

Oh boy.

There was lots of looking away from each other to hide the tears falling.

Hmmm.

If there is only one thing I have learnt from doing events, it is this:

INTIMACY DOESN’T SCALE.

Small is human.

Never underestimate the importance of small gatherings.

I am proud of the Do team.

Not all giants are big.
